Guv to deliver Sopa next week

NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will deliver his State of the Province Address (Sopa) next week.

Lacson said he will deliver the address virtually with the province's response against Covid-19 as the primary topic.

Lacson is also expected to reveal some of the province's achievements as well as future programs as part of his "Abanse Negrense" program.

Lacson assumed the post as governor of the province on June 30, 2019.

Lacson's SOPA would be his last for his first term as governor of the province.

As of this time, Lacson is unopposed in the coming May 2022 elections.
