Guv turns over assistance to E-Clip beneficiaries

GOVERNOR Eugenio Jose Lacson turned over cash assistance worth P15,000 to each of four beneficiaries of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-Clip) who are all from the Sixth District of Negros Occidental.

The ceremony was held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, and witnessed by DILG-Negros Occidental Director Ferdinand Panes, 303rd IB commander Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office Director Romy Palgue, and Rose Destua of USLS Bahay Pag-asa, among others.

Lacson said the cash assistance is only an initial help from the government.

He also thanked them for their contribution to the peace and order of the province.

E-Clip is a strategic flagship program of the national government to achieve peace and development agenda. It is implemented through the Department of the Interior and Local Government in coordination with the local government that aims to help the former rebels reintegrate back to the community.
