A CARPENTER died after he was struck by lightning in Sitio Cabakahan, Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City on July 27, 2020.
The victim was identified as Carmelito Garzon, 52, and a resident of Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City.
A police report revealed that the victim was doing carpentry work at their house on July 27 at about 2 p.m. when he was directly struck by lightning, witnessed by his mother Baldomera Entira Garzon.
The victim was immediately rushed by his family to Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital, Silay City for immediate medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
