AN ESTIMATED P105,000 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) were seized in a drug bust at Barangay 8 in Bacolod City on Sunday, July 1.
Police identified the suspect as Bonifacio Lagunday, 47, of the said village.
Police recovered from him five sachets of suspected shabu, and the P200 marked money.
He is detained at Police Station 2.
In Negros Occidental, Dennis Arnaiz, 54, of Barangay Manta-angan, E.B. Magalona was also collared yesterday after police recovered from him four sachets of suspected shabu, lighter, and the P500 marked money.
In La Carlota City, Ramilyn Guardiario,36, of Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City was arrested at Barangay 2 Saturday after police seized from her two sachets of suspected shabu, and the P200 marked money.
In Salvador Benedicto town, Andrew Phillip Bistis, 23, of Barangay Bagonbon, San Carlos City, a newly-identified drug personality was arrested last Friday at Barangay Bunga that led to a confiscation of two sachets of suspected shabu amounting to P5,000, the P300 marked money, cellular phone, and P1,840 in cash.
