P47-M bridge in Silay inaugurated

THE P47-million Malisbog Bridge in Silay City was inaugurated on May 25, 2021.

The inauguration was led by Third District Representative Jose Francisco Benitez, Silay City Mayor Mark Andrew Golez, and former senator JV Ejercito.

Golez in a statement cited the efforts of Benitez and the Department of Public Works and Highways for the materialization of the project.

Malisbog Bridge is located in Barangay E. Lopez with a span of 60 lineal meters or an area of 791.8 square meters.

Project cost is P47,023,662.89.

Also present during the blessings and inauguration were DPWH District Engineer Abraham Villareal and E. Lopez Punong Barangay Ging Gallego, Silay Councilors Lyndon Bernardo, Edwin John Dennis Velez, Ramon Celebre, Andrew John Penuela, and Henry Belleza; and Guinhalaran Punong Barangay Toti Lopez.

Reverend Father Ermen Bimbao led the blessing rites.
