A TOTAL of 647 newly-recruited Police Officers 1 (PO1s) took oath at the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas headquarters in Iloilo City Monday, October 8.
Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao, director of PRO-6, said they will undergo training at the Regional Training Center (RTC) in Barangay Mansilingan in Bacolod City after their oath taking Monday, October 8.
It will be a six-month training on public safety basic recruit course and another six months for the field training program.
Meanwhile, Superintendent Joem Malong, public information officer of PRO-6, said the new recruits are assigned in the mobile forces.
These new recruits are additional forces to the existing policemen in the region.
They will be deployed to various units and police offices after their one-year training. (GYM)
