THE TURNOVER of command at Police Regional Office (PRO) in Western Visayas is scheduled tomorrow, June 5 in Iloilo City.
Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorne Binag, outgoing regional director of PRO-Western Visayas, was relieved from his post effective June 1 upon the order of Director General Oscar Albayalde, chief of Philippine National Police (PNP).
He served as head of the regional headquarters for one year.
Albayalde has ordered the reshuffling of several top officials nationwide based on their performances.
Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao officially assumed the post of Binag.
Binag was transferred to the Directorate for Information and Communications at the PNP headquarters while Bulalacao’s post as PNP spokesperson was replaced by Senior Superintendent Benigno Durana.
