ASSISTANT Provincial Prosecutor Erfe del Castillo said Monday, October 28, 2019, she is open to any investigation to be conducted against her.
“I welcome the investigation against me,” Del Castillo said in response to the statement issued by Kate Brios in a press conference where the latter denied any links to Del Castillo’s ambush in 2018.
During the same press conference, Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said President Rodrigo Duterte had ordered an investigation on Del Castillo.
Del Castillo survived an ambush on December 21 last year that claimed the life of her fiancée Efren Palmares, a former policeman.
She earlier linked Brios as among the masterminds to the attempts on her life.
Del Castillo also insisted that there was a conspiracy to have her killed.
Asked what her message to Brios is, Del Castillo said, "Kate Brios, you don't scare me with your pictures with the politicians, the PNP (Philippine National Police) and even your NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) friend."
