MORE than P120,000 in cash collection were stolen by armed robbers from a salesman at Barangay Deliciouso in Ilog town, Negros Occidental at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12.

Virgilio Gelera Jr., 32, of Bayawan City in Negros Oriental and employed as salesman of JT Philippines, told the police that he was collecting money at a store in the barangay’s Sitio Bagroy when the three suspects arrived onboard a motorcycle.

Gelera said two of the suspects threatened him and his driver Marvie Magbanua, 40, of Barangay Inayauan in Cauayan town, Negros Occidental with unknown caliber of firearms and forcibly took his collection money amounting to P120,163 and fled.
