A SECURITY guard died while another was injured after they figured in a road accident along the national highway of Barangay Ma-ao in Bago City, Negros Occidental, Tuesday night, June 5.
Police identified the fatality as Aron Baloyot 32, of the same village.
Investigation showed that Baloyot, who was driving a motorcycle, reportedly executed an overtake against the mini bus driven by Joselito Delos Reyes, but it overlapped to the opposite lane.
Baloyot then collided with another motorcycle.
Both motorcycle drivers sustained serious injuries and were brought to a hospital, where Baloyot was declared dead upon arrival. (Faith Hope Lauren, STI West Negros University intern)
