STIWNU still top performing criminology school in Negros Occidental

STI West Negros University emerged as the top performing criminology school in Negros Occidental after the result of the April 2023 licensure exam for criminologists was released Thursday night, May 4.

STIWNU got a 66.67 percent passing rate for first time takers, while its overall performance, including repeaters, is at 62.07 percent. The national passing rate is 31.84 percent.

Next to STI are Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology at 50.94 percent and Bago City College at 46.33 percent. The six other schools are at 32 percent or below.

Assistant Vice President for Academics and Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education Nick Caballero said he is happy with his students' performance.

According to him, "bunga sang pagtutom kag kaalam sang mga kabataan and maayo nga resulta sang ini nga board exam."

For Executive Vice President Mark Molina, "ang padayon nga maayo nga resulta sang exam ang isa ka daku nga tikang para sa katumanan sang handom sang STIWNU nga mangin isa ka leading university sa Negros Island." (PR)
