A MALE teenager was injured after he was shot by a security guard when he allegedly robbed a 21-year-old woman at San Agustin Drive in Barangay 5, Bacolod City early Friday.
Police identified the wounded suspect as Axel Tebus, 19.
Investigation showed that security guard Edcel Dela Rosa was on duty at a dormitory in the said area when she responded to a call for assistance from Jazzer Ann Zamora.
Tebus allegedly snatched Zamora's valuables.
Dela Rosa shot Tebus on his back and was brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
Tebus’ companion identified as a certain “RJ Lopez” was able to escape on board a motorcycle. (GYM/SunStar Bacolod)
