JOHN Chiong, national commander of Task Force Kasanag, said Tuesday, October 9, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) in Western Visayas assured them of an appropriate action against the seven members of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) who were involved in a shooting incident with two robbers in Barangay Sum-ag in Bacolod City on August 10, 2018.
Chiong said he received a letter from Napolcom-Western Visayas director Joseph Celis recently, informing him the seven police officers were already restricted to pave way for the independent and credible investigation into the case.

Chiong said that Napolcom also reported that charges for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide were also filed against the said police officers.
