Under the name ‘Tribu DuTa-ATi,’ Performing Group No. 5 composed of Brgy. Taloc, Abuanan, Atipuluan, and Dulao was named champion in the Babaylan Festival Dance Stage Competition, Sunday, February 19.
They bested five other groups in a competition held at Manuel Y. Torres Memorial Coliseum and Cultural Center.
The rest of the participating groups won the following:
1st runner-up - Group No. 6 composed of Barangays Lag-asan, Bacong, Pacol and Tabunan
2nd runner-up - Group No. 2 composed of Barangays Don Jorge Araneta, Alianza, Caridad and Malingin
3rd runner-up - Group No. 4 composed of Barangays Balingasag, Sampinit, Busay and Napoles
Best in Binalaybay - Group No. 6 (Barangays Lag-asan, Bacong, Pacol and Tabunan)
The competition was in line with the celebration of the 57th Charter Day and 23rd Babaylan Festival. (The Citybridge)
