Victoriahanon qualifies in Beijing int’l ballet tilt

MALIHAW awardee and Victoriahanon’s pride Rench Isaac Soriano was the only Filipino who qualified in the 6th Beijing International Ballet Competition for Dance Schools in China this year.

The young Asian Grand Prix winner and international ballet dancer will compete on October 18 in an international dance competition hosted by Beijing Dance Academy (BDA) in Beijing, China.

Out of 135 applications from 18 different countries including China, Soriano qualified in Category B, Round 1 representing New Zealand School of Dance where he is now enrolled as a scholar.

Soriano also has a competition in Auckland, New Zealand this September.

He is the son of Rene and Ma. Chita Carumba Soriano from Canetown Subdivision in Victorias City and was a student of Dance Pull School of Performing Arts before getting a scholarship grant in New Zealand./PR
