Magnitude-4 quake rocks Mt. Province

STATE seismologists said a magnitude-4 earthquake rocked Mountain Province Monday morning.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake hit Bontoc town at 5:03 a.m.

The quake's epicenter was located 16 kilometers (kms) southwest of the town with a depth of 28 kms.

Phivolcs said no aftershocks are expected from the earthquake, which was tectonic in origin. (Sunnex)
