THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Drug Enforcement Unit seized an estimated P510,000 worth of shabu in a drug bust in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City around 11:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
The operation led to the arrest of Alias "Tata," 35, a resident of Barangay 2.
BCPO records showed Tata was caught after selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover operative.
Police found several sachets of shabu weighing 75 grams, and the marked money from Tata's possession.
The suspect was identified as a high-value drug personality in Bacolod City. He was under surveillance for almost a month before his arrest.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 2.
He will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MAP)
