
THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized an estimated P680,000 worth of substance believed to be shabu in a drug bust in Purok Kabuhi, Barangay 10, Bacolod City on Monday, June 2, 2025.
The operation also led to the arrest of alias “Tata,” 24, a resident of Purok Kabuhi, Barangay 10, Bacolod City.
BCPO records showed Tata was arrested by operatives City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU) after selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Estefania at 1:16 a.m.
Police recovered from Tata’s possession eight heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 100 grams, the P500 marked money and other non-drug items.
Police said the suspect has been classified as a high-value drug personality in Bacolod City.
The suspect is currently detained at the custodial facility of Police Stations 2 and 4. He will be charged with violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MAP)
