AIMED to further develop tchoukball in the province, the Tchoukball Association of Negros will stage the Ilahas Cup on May 18 to 19 at the Nazareth Activity Hub in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
Competing for men's and women's open are teams from Ikthus, La Salle, Sum-ag, Mansilingan First Baptist Church and Gracelife Camp-Cansilayan, Murcia.
The Tchoukball Association of the Philippines (TAP) recently elected their new set of officers headed by re-elected president Raymund Jamelo alongside John Cantong (vice president), Benjie Oray (secretary), Joel Maiko Brasileno (treasurer) and John Elray Jamelo (promotions).
Jamelo and Brasileno head the promotion for Visayas and Mindanao, respectively and appointed as Tchoukball director for promotions for Luzon are Matt Bautista.
TAP President Jamelo yesterday, May 13, said that under their new mandate, they are working hard for the inclusion of tchoukball as a demonstration sport in next year's Southeast Asian Games which the Philippines will host.
