A FIRST in the Philippines starting today until June 10.

Some 80 racers across the Asian region and other parts of the world will see action in Round 2 of the Asian Onroad Championship at the Bacolod Central District Speedway, besides Robinsons Place.

AOC's 6th season kicked off last April 5 to 7 at the RCI V2 Raceway in Shanghai, China. Its Round 3 will be held in Australia, Round 4 in Korea and Round 5 in Japan.

The onroad racing scene has grown in the Philippines since the early days of the Pro 10 cars and 1/12th scale to touring cars and F1.

The event made a world-caliber affair in Las Vegas. Through the years, it remained a great show.

Euro Touring Series was introduced and AOC continued to travel around Asia bringing fun and excitement to racers and spectators and helping sponsors expose their brands to new customers.

Teams to watch are Team Yokomo, XRay, and Team LRY which features several world champions.
