BACOLODNON Sunny Diego walked away with gold and silver medals at the North American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Los Angeles International Open 2018 held in California, United States on June 23 to 24.

Diego, a John Maxwell speaker, represented Grand Mountain BJJ under Gracie Humaità in the Master 3 Medium Heavy Weight Division.

He bested a Mexican fighter to bag home the gold medal while an American bowed down for him to secure the silver medal.

Jiu-jitsu is martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting, which is an effective self-defense technique.

Diego, who trains five times a week, also participates in Spartan races and running events in the US.
