ALL set for the staging of the 2nd Pagkilit-Anay Sa Board Liwat 2018 – Kim B. Dumdum Memorial Chess Tournament on August 11 at the STI-West Negros University covered court and August 12 at the City Mall Mandalagan in Bacolod City.
Playing on Day 1 are the 16 and Under category participants, while the Open division is scheduled on the second day.
Cash prizes are at stake for the top three finishers in each group: P3,000, champion; P2,000, second place; and P1,000, third place while the next six finishers are expected to receive respective incentives.
Special awards will also be given to the Best 14 and U, 12 and U, 10 and U, and 8 and U.
This tournament is a seven-round Swiss System with a time control of 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment. Round 1 will start at 10 a.m.
Registration fee is P200 for each category.
