Red House/UNO-R, Supreme ABF dispute solo lead today

UNIVERSITY of Negros Occidental-Recoletos/Red House Taiwan Shabu-Shabu (RHTSS) and Supreme ABF/Silvergraces Construction both with 3-0 record dispute solo lead of Negros Basketball Association 2018 President’s Cup at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

Coach Gerome Aledron’s RHTSS dominated the opposition in its last two games despite the absence of Cameroonian import Landry Zanjo, making the Rams in RHTSS uniform the team to beat this season.

Supreme ABF/Silvergraces Construction outplayed its rivals as big men Errol Doromal and Cameroonian import Frederick Ngoh Elombi continued to control the paint at both ends.

Playing team manager John Alfred Gilbor and his wards are slightly favored in today's match if Zanjo fails to appear. But UNO-R/RHTSS is no pushover having its current roster and veterans used to playing without an import.

Preceding both leaders match at 5:15 p.m. is another duel for winless Dawn Rent A Car and Duke Jay Game Farm at 3:30 p.m. Both have 0-2 records.

Games on Sunday pit Melfern and Dawn Rent a Car at 2 p.m.; USLS Freeze Sportswear and Duke Jay Game Farm at 3:45 and CSAV-Silver Dragon vs ESJ/Fyr Fyter/YBAC.

Admission is P25 at ringside and free at the bleachers.
