MY HUSBAND, Tolitz, joined the Rotary Club of Baguio Summer Capital (RCBSC) in 2005 through the invitation of Rtn. Ron Abubo. Being a member for 13 years, he stayed because of brotherhood and moreover because of the great feeling of fulfillment in being of service to others.
As the Rotary Hymn of George Canseco reiterates, “I’ll get my spouse to be involved in Rotary and in Rotary ways I will train my family”. I haven’t been active in Rotary but just recently through tita Lilia Bautista and Ann Jhen Baltazar’s invitation, I was happy to be part of this wonderful family and likewise with my kids. I believe, it is not about boasting about what one has achieved but it is the happiness and fulfillment that one feels after each activity. That is, being given the opportunity to help those in need. The pronouncement indeed just follows to inspire the others to do the same. Therefore, be the inspiration! Godspeed RCBSC!
