A SUSPECTED burglar was killed while a police officer was wounded in a shootout in La Trinidad, Benguet Saturday morning, July 14.
Based on initial police report, Senior Police Officer 2 Noren Bandao was about to arrest Jonathan Mayangao Cabradilla from Bauko, Mountain Province, who was allegedly breaking into one of the houses at Windy Hill, Buyagan in La Trinidad.
The suspect fired his gun hitting the mouth of Bandao, the apprehending officer, who was able to fire back and killed the suspect
Chief Inspector Benson Macli-ing, La Trinidad Municipal Police Station head, said as of 2 p.m. July 14, Bandao was still recuperating at the Pines City Hospital. (SunStar Baguio)
