NCRPO RMFB welcomes new commander from Benguet

A POLICE officer from Bokod, Benguet was appointed as the new commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Police Colonel Lambert Alban Suerte was appointed as the new RMFB in NCR on November 25.

"As part of our team, we believe that you are going to be the best leader who will accomplish tasks day-to-day. We are very pleased to welcome you and we're looking forward to work with you in your Good Leadership," the personnel of RMFB NCRPO said.

Before his appointment, Suerte also served as the force commander of the RMFB in Calabarzon.

RMFB's mandate is to provide internal security operations, public safety, civil disturbance management and search rescue, support to law enforcement operations implementation of search warrants, serve of warrant of arrest and other police operations support.

Suerte was also recognized both in regional and national level for his dedication to the service.

Suerte, together with four other commanders of the Special Action Force (SAF), was honored for their bravery in leading the military to liberate Marawi City from a terrorist siege. They were awarded by President Rodrigo Duterte in Camp Crame.

In 2014, he was also awarded by former President Benigno Aquino III for his outstanding individual achievement in the field of police operations.

Suerte was also recognized by the Police Regional Office-Cordillera for his outstanding performance of duty in police operation in 2013.
