A PORTION of the Baguio-Bontoc Road remain closed to traffic according to the Mountain Province First District Engineering Office (MPDEO).
In its August 28 situational report, the Busa, Sabangan section of the Baguio-Bontoc Road remains close after it was washed out.
MPDEO advised motorists traveling the area to take Abatan, Bauko - Mabaay Provincial Road and vice versa as an alternate route.
Meanwhile, the Baguio-Bontoc Road along the Balili section in Barangay Alab, Bontoc, and Palinga-aw, Sabangan, also in Mt. Province were cleared by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The junction of Talubin - Barlig-Natonin - Paracelis-Calaccad road which was earlier reported to have collapsed was also opened after a clearing operation by a private contractor.
