BEAN Voyage, the coffee shop famed for its selfie coffee, just recently opened a kiosk in The Hive Food Park in Limketkai, Cagayan de Oro City, offering its unique drinks and desserts which are not served in its main branch.

Located in the left side of The Hive, the Bean Voyage, aside from its classic coffee, is selling their exclusive specialty drinks and desserts for the food park goers to enjoy.

"I just wanted to be very unique and creative, that's why I just tried to innovate and try to make it stand out," Joana Tan, owner of Bean Voyage, said.

Some of their specialty drinks include: hot and iced classic espresso, affogatos, ice cream float, ultimate thick shakes and the Birthday cake latte.

The Birthday cake latte is something new and notable in Bean Voyage because, instead of the color white in a latte art, they have it in rainbow colors.

"Our normal coffee latte, I wanted to stand out that's why I was thinking: 'why not add colors,' that's why birthday cake," Tan said.

A cup of the Birthday cake latte costs P100.

Specialty desserts, on the other hand, are: the brownie sundae, mango float creme, and cheesecake on stick.

"It’s very personalize, ice cream-like. It looks like an ice cream, it’s actually a frozen, homemade cheesecake," Tan said as she described the Cheesecake on stick dessert.

For P135, customers will be given a frozen cheesecake on a stick and will be asked to select their preferred dip (white chocolate, milk chocolate or matcha), three out of six available toppings (coconut, canola oats, corn flakes, caramel popcorn, oreo crumbs, or pretzels) and drizzle (chocolate, white chocolate or caramel).

The establishment has also a variety of ready-to-eat cheesecake on a stick, which includes: Chocolate hazelnut crunch, Oreo White chocolate matcha, and Caramelize biscoff cookie. And the product will cost P150.

"For the cheesecake, I love cheesecake kasi. Nag trending kasi yung make your own cheesecake sa U.S. and then I tried it here na ako lang ang gumawa. And when I tasted it, its good naman, so why not offer (I love cheesecake. The make your own cheesecake is trending in U.S. and then I tried it here which I personally made. And when I tasted it, it’s good so why not offer)," Tan said.

She also shared how she tried serving the product in the main branch in a seasonal offer and it has garnered good feedback from their clients.

Although, according to Tan, their problem, as of now, is the location of the kiosk in The Hive.

"As of now, yung pumupunta is yung may alam lang about us kasi its quite hidden on the left side and the other tenants are not yet open. So wala masyadong pumupunta (As of now, those who are coming are those who know the store because it is quite hidden on the left side and the other tenants are not yet open. So, there’s only few who visit)," Tan said.

Despite that, the kiosk still garnered good responses from their customers on the specialty drinks and desserts they serve.

Bean Voyage's kiosk is located on the left side of The Hive which opens at 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
