1 killed in Opol drug bust

ANOTHER suspected drug personality has lost the chance to reform his ways and be tried in court after he was killed by the anti-illegal drug operatives in what the police claimed to be a drug bust in Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental, Tuesday night, November 20.

The bloody operation took the life of the drug suspect identified as Arnold Salarda who did not get to the hospital alive.

Police said Salada was figured in the drug list of the Directorate of Intelligence (DI) from the PNP national headquarters.

Again, investigators said it was the suspect who opened fire upon noticing the poseur buyer was an undercover policeman, forcing the back-up operatives to return fire.

Authorities recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu (Methamphetamine hydrochloride), a P500 buy-bust money and the suspect's 38 caliber revolver with live bullets.
