A TOTAL of 79,422 individuals or 15.31 percent of the total target population in Cagayan de Oro have been fully vaccinated as of August 15, 2021.
According to the City Government's data, the city's target population for the Covid-19 vaccination is 518,518. Of the said figure, 165,351 or 31.88 percent got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines.
A total of 247,877 individuals in Cagayan de Oro have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of August 16, 2021.
According to the data presented by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno during the daily press briefing at city hall, among the 247,877 vaccinees, 187,863 were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites and 60,014 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.
Of the 187,863 individuals vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, 24,506 were frontline healthcare workers, 51,976 were senior citizens, 67,199 were persons with comorbidities, 40,567 were essential frontline workers, and 3,615 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.
