21 IKNB scholars finish techvoc courses

SOME 21 scholars of the Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny "Bambi" Emano's "Iskolar ko Ni Bambi" (IKNB) program have graduated the Slaughtering Operation NC II of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Emano was invited to speak before the graduates during their graduation rites at a hotel here last October 19.

The 21 scholar beneficiaries belong to the 113th batch of the IKNB which offers free education to less privilege but deserving students in the province.

"Gikalipay ko nga madunggan og makit-ang nagmalampuson ang mga benepisyaryo sa ilang paningkamot nga makakab-ot sa maayong kaugmaon,'Emano said.

The governor has been working hard to get financial aid from several senators to support the capitol's programs on education, agriculture, tourism, among others, to uplift the lives of the people in the province.

The IKNB program was Emano's brainchild in 2007 and had already benefited nearly 20,000 students in the province. The program has more than 3,000 beneficiaries this year.
