A TOTAL of 244,773 individuals in Cagayan de Oro have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of August 15, 2021.
Of the 244,773 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 165,351 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 79,422 were fully vaccinated.
According to the data presented by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno during the daily press briefing at city hall, among the 244,773 vaccinees, 184,759 were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites and 60,014 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.
Of the 184,759 individuals vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, 24,462 were frontline healthcare workers, 51,830 were senior citizens, 66,479 were persons with comorbidities, 38,785 were essential frontline workers, and 3,203 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.
Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated coronavirus-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was already at 1,749, the City Health Office reported.
According to the City Health Office, of the 2,456 vaccinees, 1,566 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 482 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 175 with Pfizer, 130 with Sputnik V, 97 with Janssen, three with Sinopharm, and three with Moderna.
Of the 1,566 coronavirus-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 1,204 individuals experienced mild symptoms, 253 were asymptomatic, 103 were moderate cases, and six were severe cases.
Among the 482 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 347 individuals had mild symptoms, 98 were asymptomatic, 34 had moderate symptoms, and three were severe cases.
Of the 175 Pfizer vaccinees, 125 individuals had mild symptoms, 41 were asymptomatic, and nine were moderate cases.
Among the 130 Sputnik V vaccinees, 102 had mild symptoms, 15 were asymptomatic, and 13 were moderate cases.
Among the 97 Janssen vaccinees, 75 had mild symptoms, 10 were asymptomatic, and 12 were moderate cases.
Of the three Sinopharm vaccinees, two had mild symptoms and one was asymptomatic.
All of the three Moderna vaccinees were asymptomatic.
Of the 2,456 total vaccinated confirmed coronavirus-positive individuals, 1,387 were fully vaccinated.
