Alliance group urges Duterte to run for vice president in 2022 elections

A MULTI-SECTORAL alliance composed of various civic groups will be holding a caravan on Sunday, March 28, 2021, showing their support for the current administration, as well as their call for President Rodrigo Duterte to run as vice president in the 2022 elections.

The multi-sectoral alliance is composed of the Orig Roa Clan, Duterte Clan, Outkast, Go Bong Go Movement, PRRD Coalition, Iligan Group, Navarra Nation Eagles PH, S&R, Daltans Riders Group, Dagan Day Sara, One Criminology Philippines, ONE CDO-UPDG, Friends of Rodrigo Duterte (FORD), Triskelions Grand Fraternity/TAU GAMMA PHI, Sara Truckers, Braveheart Dragonboat Team, Alpha Kappa Rho, Mayor Sara Duterte Alliance, Structural Alternative Legal Assistance Group, and Kahugpungna Federal Movement.

According to Elvira Go of the Go Bong Go Movement, the aforementioned groups have united to urge Duterte to run for vice president in the 2022 elections, saying that his leadership is what the country needed.

Dean Gerry Caño of One Criminology Philippines said Duterte's kind of political will is needed in the country.

The caravan, to be conducted on Duterte's 76th birthday, is set to kick off at 8 a.m. at the Rodelsa Circle, going to the western part western part of the city ending in Barangay Bulua, traversing the national highway then going all the way tot he eastern part of the city before going back to the Rodelsa Circle for a short program.
