A FOUR-STORY, 16-classroom school building broke ground at the Bulua National High School in Cagayan de Oro City on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

The groundbreaking for the P76.4-million classroom building, funded by the City Government, was led by Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy who, in his message, expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their hard work.

He also encouraged the parents to always support their children in their studies.

"Gi-andam ko na tanang mga gamit sulod sa matag classroom sa mga estudyante og magtutudlo aron hamogaway ang ilang pagtungha. Pinasahi kani tanan nga dili kita makahatag og kahasol sa mga bata og labaw sa tanan sa mga magtutudlo," Uy said.

It was discovered that Bulua National High School has a shortage of 54 classrooms for 4,300 students who are using 48 classrooms at present. They also have been experiencing a double shift for a long time.

According to Uy, the four-story classroom building has a built-in multimedia package for the convenience of the students and teachers. These include a smart TV, projector, sound system, desktop computer, tables and chairs for teachers, arm chairs with storage for students, and arm chairs for left-handed students.

The building also comes with a functional alarm system for the security of those inside the school, the mayor added.
