THIRTY-SIX new arrivals were added as persons under monitoring (PUMs) in Cagayan de Oro City as of Monday, April 20, bringing the total number of PUMs in the city to 201.

Of the 201 PUMs, 121 are still undergoing 14-day quarantine, 77 already completed, while three are due on Tuesday, April 21.

City Health officer-in-charge Dr. Lorraine Nery said the new arrivals are people who came from other areas and were captured by the Barangay Health Response Teams (Bherts).

Meanwhile, there are no additional PUMs who were in close contact with patients under investigation (PUIs) and Covid-positive patients admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other private hospitals as of Monday, April 20.

Of the 223 total number of PUMs in close contact with PUIs and Covid-positive patients, 51 of them are still ongoing quarantine.

Nery has also informed the public of the official launching of the telemedicine conducted by the doctors, nurses, and medical practitioners of the City Health Office (CHO) on Wednesday, April 22.
