Capitol allocates financial assistance to LGUs, PNP for Undas

THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental is turning over financial and logistical assistance to each town and city police station as a support to the law enforcers in ensuring a safe and secured observance of the All Saints and All Souls Day on November 1 and 2.

Governor Yevgeny Emano on Monday, October 29, said he will give P15,000-P20,000 per police station, excluding the provincial police headquarters.

Emano said the budget will be coming from his intelligence and confidential funds.

"Para lang na sa pagpatunhay nila sa kahusay ug kalinaw sa kalag-kalag," Emano said.

Emano on Wednesday, October 31, led the meeting of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) together with the town police chiefs to set up the security plans for the "Oplan Kaluluwa".

The governor also ordered the provincial health office to raise the alert level in the capitol-run hospitals.

"Ang atong focus is PHO para sa little increase sa alert sa mga hospital kay ang PDRRMO embedded naman sa mga barangays," Emano said.

The provincial police office is set to deploy hundreds of police personnel in more than 50 cemeteries across the province as they are expecting thousands of residents to visit the grave of their departed loved ones.
