Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro now at 414

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro has reached 414 after the repeat swab tests of 17 Covid-positive patients yielded negative results over the weekend.

Of the 17 new recoveries, 12 are local cases, three are locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and two are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs).

Those who have recovered are:

- 51-year-old female resident of Barangay Lumbia;

- A 36-year-old female resident of Barangay Indahag;

- A 38-year-old male local Authorized Person Outside Residence (Apor) residing in Barangay Carmen;

- A 30-year-old male local Apor, a healthcare worker, residing in Barangay 27;

- A 31-year-old male local Apor, a healthcare worker, residing in Barangay Lumbia;

- A 30-year-old female resident of Barangay Lapasan;

- A 39-year-old male resident of Barangay Puntod;

- A 34-year-old male resident of Barangay Tablon;

- A 71-year-old female resident of Barangay Kauswagan;

A 34-year-old male and resident of Barangay Iponan;

- A 50-year-old male, Apor, a healthcare worker, residing in Barangay Carmen;

- A 41-year-old female, Apor, a healthcare worker, residing in Barangay Kauswagan;

- A 29-year-old male ROF from the Middle East and a resident of Barangay Patag;

- A 43-year-old male ROF from Dubai and a resident of Barangay Camaman-an;

- A 19-year-old female LSI from Pasil, Cebu City and a resident of Barangay Indahag;

- A 29-year-old male LSI from Taguig and a resident of Barangay Camaman-an; and

- A 32-year-old male LSI from Mandaluyong and a resident of Barangay Kauswagan.

According to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery, of the 414 recoveries recorded in Cagayan de Oro, 207 are LSIs, 85 are ROFs, and 122 are local cases (community: 83; Apor: 39).

As of September 27, Cagayan de Oro registered a total of 719 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Of the number, 327 are ROFs/LSIs, and 392 are local cases.

The city has 274 active cases, 12 of whom are admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 228 are outpatients, 34 are ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths remains at 31.
