THE Department of Health (DOH) in Northern Mindanao has accredited the male dormitory at the Cagayan de Oro City Jail as one of the quarantine centers in the city.
There are now a total of 13 isolation unit units in the city that will cater to Covid-related cases.
The new facility is a 36-bed capacity quarantine unit, complete with the amenities required by the DOH in an isolation facility.
Out of the 13 isolation units in the city, nine are already accredited by the DOH, while seven are accredited by PhilHealth.
Almost 150 individuals, who are either locally stranded or overseas Filipino workers, are currently at the city isolation units for their mandatory 14-day quarantine. (PJO)
