A FORMER soldier was arrested by police after allegedly transporting illegal drugs from Bukidnon to neighboring municipalities across the region.
Police identified the suspect as Arlan Taguiamon, 43, a resident of Kalasungay, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
Taguiamon was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in an inn on Capistrano Street, Cagayan de Oro City.
Recovered from the suspect was a caliber .38 revolver, and three large packs of transparent heat-sealed cellophane containing shabu, with an estimated weight of more or less 55 grams and with street value of P374,000.
Taguiamon will face charges for illegal possession of firearms and illegal drugs. (PJO)
