Raul Dael, a fisherman's son from Kimaya, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, will be the second diocesan priest from the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro who will be appointed as Bishop.

In a press conference, Dael said he looks forward to building friendships and new relationships in his new home in Tandag.

"I simply would like to listen, observe and appreciate the many good things that are already there, establish relationships and friendships, know and be known, and also to have sense of the issues and concerns affecting the people and the rest of the creation. I will not rush into things. There is time for everything," he said. (With Frank Rosete, COC intern)
