Guv says ‘MisOr Cares’ is for all

MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano Thursday, September 27, reiterated that his brainchild Misamis Oriental Care System (MisOr Cares) was not conceived to create competition among leaders but to better the health care service of the provincial government.

Emano made the statement after receiving reports that some political leaders are competing with MisOr Cares to advance their political interests.

The governor explained that MisOr Cares has never created rivalry as it is a special program meant to address hospitalization problems and medical needs of the people of the province.

“Wala sukad mahitabo nga dunay kompetisyon ang MisOr cares tungod kay pinasahi kini nga programa pagsulbad sa problema sa hospitalization,” Emano said.

The capitol's top official said MisOr Cares was established to accommodate those who do not have the financial capacity to avail hospital services.

Emano has instructed the officials of MisOr Cares to entertain concerns of the people regardless of political differences.

MisOr Cares is now in its fourth year and already delivered over 1.2 million services including burial assistance, among others.

Emano said 40 to 60 percent of the capitol budget is allocated to health care services.
