RESIDENTS in Taytay, El Salvador City, and nearby villages and towns, have flocked to the opening of the satellite office of Misamis Oriental Cares System (MisOr Cares) on Tuesday, March 18, as it begins to deliver health, dental, free medical check-up, and other services.
Governor Yevgeny Emano and MisOr Cares overseer board member President Elipe led the distribution of free medicines, 267 eyeglasses to senior citizens, 11 cows to identified farmers, among others.
The Provincial Government also turned over P300,000 worth of pathway improvement of Barangay Cogon and another P300,000 for the stockroom of Barangay Poblacion.
Elipe also launched the “Elipe's Corner” where concerns of senior citizens such as eyeglasses, among others, are accommodated.
“Diri nato i-entertain ang mga concern sa atong mga ginikinan busa naa na tay tagline nga ‘Ginikanan ko Pinangga Ko’ (This is where we entertain the concerns of our parents that is why we have a tagline 'My parents are dear to me),” Elipe said.
Elipe, who oversee the capitol's health care program, said the Provincial Government could finally address the medical needs of residents who have long been clamoring for an office where they can run to in times of need.
Emano, on the other hand, has assured that MisOr Cares extension office is open 24 hours to attend to the medical needs of the residents in the area and even to other neighboring areas.
He said this is another accomplishment of his brainchild health care program after the previous extension office in Barangay Molugan was closed and abolished due to “political issues.”
“Kini pinaagi sa atong paningkamot nga matubag ang hangyo sa katawhan ug ato sad hangyo nga ila gyud ning pahimuslan (this is because of our effort to answer the request of the people, and we also ask them that they should also avail it),” Emano said.
Emano has just brushed off all “mockeries” of his political detractors, even as he bannered the success of MisOr Cares which has delivered more than 1 million services to residents.
“Ang ilang gisaway ug gibiay-biay nga programa nga dili kuno molampos milyones ka serbisyo na ang natunol (the program that they criticized and ridiculed has already provided millions of services). Pasagdan na lang na sila kay wala may ilang susamang programa (we just let them be because they don't have this kind program),” he said.
