Over 570,000 individuals vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro

THE cumulative number of individuals who have received their doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro as of November 9 was 570,948, according to the report of the City Health Office.

Of the 570,948 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 326,033 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 244,915 were fully vaccinated.

According to the said report, among the 570,948 vaccinees, 457,602 were vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites and 113,346 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.

Of the 457,602 individuals vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites, 31,337 were frontline healthcare workers, 58,699 were senior citizens, 91,756 were persons with comorbidities, 227,543 were essential frontline workers, 25,738 were from the A5 priority group, 17,679 were from the ROAP group, and 4,850 were from pedia A3 and ROPP groups.

Meanwhile, there were no new mortalities of vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro.

The number of deaths involving vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro remained at 81.

Of the said figure, 41 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 19 with AstraZeneca, 12 with Janssen, six with Sputnik V and three with Pfizer.

Cagayan de Oro now hax a total of 840 Covid-19 deaths, in which the majority or 758 (90 percent) were unvaccinated.
