MEMBERS of the Misamis Oriental provincial slate in the second district holds a caravan on Thursday, May 2, after proclamation rallies of the different municipalities and cities have concluded.
Led by Governor Yevgeny Emano, candidates under the Padayon Pilipino Party toured the province's second district from Jasaan to Lugait, together with the party's local bets.
Residents have waited on the streets as they cheered for the candidates, as Padayon Pilipino ticket was joined by two celebrities Ella Cruz and Ryza Cenon, who were both endorsing the Ang Probinsyano Party-list.
“Humana naman ang atong mga proclamation rallies sa 23 municipalities and two cities, so this time nag caravan kita sa first ug second district,” Emano said.
The caravan for the first district is slated on Friday, May 3.
Emano said the party slate will maximize the remaining days of the campaign period in penetrating areas not yet reached by the group.
The governor, who is seeking his third and final term said they will also go back to municipalities and city where they think the party have not performed well like Villanueva, including those areas where their local bets for mayor are not incumbent like Opol, El Salvador City and Alubijid.
However, Emano believed that the people of the province have already realized that candidates under Padayon Pilipino offered better platforms and programs of government.
