JOINT police operatives arrested a 39-year-old man for rape and child abuse charges in Quezon, Bukidnon on May 15, 2025.
Authorities identified him as Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Northern Mindanao.
According to the Quezon Municipal Police Station, their records showed that the suspect subjected his two stepdaughters, aged 18 and 16, to sexual and other forms of child abuse inside their residence in January 2024.
The suspect is currently under the custody of Quezon Municipal Police Station.
Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao Director Jaysen de Guzman assured the public that the police will continue its aggressive manhunt operations to ensure the arrest of all wanted persons in the region.
"The arrest of the region’s most wanted person sends a strong message that justice will always prevail. No criminal can evade the law forever," De Guzman said. (Jo Ann Sablad/SunStar Philippines)
