Our aim since the beginning is to maintain our credibility and publish the highest quality of news using ethical standards of journalism. As we deal with the rigors of producing a daily paper, we have seen the need to give our team a day-off to recharge, refresh and recommit.
We believe a well-rested newsman can work better and sharper in the long run. In this light, SunStar Cagayan de Oro has decided to combine our Saturday and Sunday releases and make a one-weekend issue as we give our reporters and staff time to enjoy with their family.
This merged issue is one worth flipping page after another as we continue to serve you dominantly local news and opinion on hot issues that beset our community and the country to provide you a truly exciting and interesting experience.
In particular, we design this issue to be a breath of fresh air as we give you a dose of life’s colors in our lifestyle segment and a touch of spirituality in our opinion section.
