CAGAYAN de Oro Higalas B has won the Pilipinas Super League 18-Under Mindanao North Leg after dominating Meljohns Tailoring of Team Malaybalay with a score of 91-71 during the finals held at the Valencia Gymnasium & Cultural Center in Valencia City, Bukidnon on July 1, 2023.
Jarl Artango led the way for Higalas B with 23 points, earning him the "Super Player of the Game," while Rex Alcober added 21 points and eight boards. John Joseph Sanoria also notched 18 markers.
CDO Higalas B is the third team to advance to the Manila Bankers Life Pilipinas Super League 18-Under National Finals in Pampanga on July 15, joining Mindanao South champion Max Ballers Davao, Visayas champion Sherilin Khalifa City of Naga, and the survivors of the NCR and Luzon Legs.
