THE Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (Paocc) and the Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday deported 100 Chinese nationals apprehended in four separate raids on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators since last year.

The deportation was in line with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to intensify the campaign to remove foreign nationals engaged in illicit online gaming and scamming operations, and dismantle organized criminal networks.

In a statement, the Paocc said the deportees were sent home on board PAL flight PR336 bound for Shanghai from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Parañaque City. This was done in coordination with the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines.

“These individuals were apprehended during earlier joint law enforcement operations targeting scam hubs involved in illegal offshore gaming and fraud activities,” the Paocc said.

In particular, the deportees were apprehended in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on Aug 31, 2024; Silang, Cavite on January 16, 2025; Parañaque on February 20, 2025; and Pasay City on Feb. 27, 2025. / PNA
