THREE young boys, ages 16, 14, and 13, were apprehended and handed over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Barangay Estaca, Compostela town, northern Cebu, at 1:24 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
The robbery was discovered when the offenders, whose names are withheld for being minors, were stopped by the barangay tanod for overloading and violating the municipality’s curfew ordinance.
The 16-year-old boy reportedly drove the motorcycle.
Later, the owner of the motorcycle was identified as Efren Tobil, 46, of Barangay Jubay, Liloan town. (DVG, TPT)
