A UNIVERSITY of Cebu (UC) graduate secured the top spot in the November 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Exam, while three other graduates from Cebu schools also made it to the top 10.
Results of the exam released on Thursday, December 5, 2024, by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed that Francis Charles Pepito Lauta of UC got a rating of 93.25 percent, placing first in the top 10 list.
Rodolfo Guanzon Misa Jr. and Lorenzo Rafael Arcamo Langbid, both from the University of San Carlos, placed eighth and 10th, respectively.
Misa got a rating of 91.50 percent, while Langbid scored 91.15 percent.
Joining Langbid in the 10th place was John David Jerusalem from Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) University who also garnered a rating of 91.15 percent.
The PRC said that 6,835 out of 18,436 passed the Civil Engineers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in 18 testing centers all over the Philippines in November and December 2024.

The PRC said that starting December 23, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online.
It advised the passers to visit its website at www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), two pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, said the PRC. (LMY)
